Not What It Seems is a surreal, playful celebration of the traditional British summer. Merging graphic, hard-edge acrylic painted geometry with hand-cut mid-century figures, the series explores spatial impossibility and inventive narrative.

From tennis players balancing on a geometric court and golfers navigating an impossible number-four shape, to cricket players scrambling up an ambiguous wicket and multi-scaled ping-pong players interacting within pastel dimensions, the works utilise altered scales and whimsical perspective to challenge our perception of the familiar.
